I read this a while back, its now one of my favourite books. Its actually inspired me to take some photos and while my little Lumix doesn't cut it and I've got heaps to learn, it should be fun along the way.

The book itself tells a very interesting story of an extremely talented and unusual guy who became a legendary surf photographer and then one day dropped off the face of the earth. The photos within capture the essence of surfing perfectly I think. One of the true eccentric figures in surfing history.
im sure you've seen this dude, but this slideshow with commentary is awesome and showcases some of stoners all time shots, ive got an article in an old surfers path with some of his photo's in...love it!
