Just got back from Crescent, had a great trip one of the best. The comp was ok fun (I think Ben would say it was better than that), the trip was even better. We had good waves, crap waves, sun, wind, rain , the whole lot but it was great living in our van on the point for a week. Met some great people, some old acquaintances, the Country Club was frequented, Crescent is a great place to be, I must say we didn't really want to come home at the end.I came 4th in the Old Mal which was ok I guess, I've kinda lost interest in the comp thing, struggling to see the point at my age. Looking forward to another 30 or so years of free surfing though and more trips like this one!
